The FZ16 is the smallest model of the Yamaha’s FZ series of motorcycles. The design of the bike, however, is a great attraction for youngsters and this is where Yamaha manages to win the hearts of its customers. But there is the engine to keep you engaged as it comes with a 153cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that generates 13PS of power. The FZ16 gets a telescopic suspension at the front and monocross suspension at the rear which helps in absorbing the potholes in the city.

Yamaha FZ16 is the smallest model of the Yamaha’s FZ series of motorcycles. It’s design elements are very stylish and dynamic and Yamaha calls it the ‘Lord of the Streets’.

The FZ16 is powered by a 153cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that generates 13.8bhp at 7,500rpm and 13.6Nm of torque at 6,000rpm mated to a 5-speed sequential gearbox. The FZ sports a telescopic suspension at the front and monocross suspension at the front that provides 120mm of travel making it an ideal motorcycle for Indian riding conditions.

The motorcycle is equipped with disc brake at the front and drum at the rear. The FZ16 gets 17-inch wheels with 100/80 and 140/60 radial tyres at the front and rear respectively. The exhaust muffler goes very well with the styling of the motorcycle too.

The motorcycle weighs 135kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 12 liters.The FZ16 is available in India in three colors – Panther Black, Ambush Blue and Raider Red. The motorcycle is priced at Rs 74,343 (Ex-showroom Mumbai).
