Kawasaki’s high priced H2 motorcycle is the restrained version of the raving H2R which was brought to India lately.  The premium motorcycle uses a 998cc, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, In-line engine producing the massive power of 197bhp at 11000rpm and peak torque of 133.5Nm at 10,500rpm.

A six-speed return transmission is mated to the engine for channelizing power to wheels. Built around the trellis high-tensile steel with Swingarm mounting plate frame, the bike gets inverted front forks and gas charged shock rear absorbers. Dual semi-floating 330mm disc brakes are fitted in front and rear comes with single 250mm disc unit for retarding speed.

The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and H2 claims a top speed of 400 plus kmph on its track only R version. Normally, it can strike a 300 plus kmph of top speed on closed circuits. It weighs 238 kg and remains the only production motorcycle with a supercharger. In its price segment, Ninja H2 rivals Yamaha YZF-R1 and BMW S1000RR.
