About KTM :

KTM AG (the former KTM Sportmotorcycle AG) is an Austrian motorcycle and sports car manufacturer owned by KTM Industries AG and Bajaj Auto. It was formed in 1992 but traces its foundation to as early as 1934. Today, KTM AG is the parent company of the KTM Group.

KTM is known for its off-road motorcycles (Enduro, Motocross, and Supermoto). Since the late 1990s, it has expanded into street motorcycle production and developing sports cars – namely the X-Bow. In 2015, KTM sold almost as many street motorcycles as off-road bikes. Production of the KTM sports car X-BOW started in 2007.

Like we said, the 2017 RC 200 gets cosmetic updates. The bodywork looks a lot fresher and we like the way the design has evolved. The 2017 model RC 200 features revised color schemes, too. Bits like mirrors, footpegs, indicators are new. So is the exhaust system. It may be noted that while the 2017 model KTM RC 390 receives a side-mounted exhaust, the RC200 continues with an underbelly unit. We like the way KTM has ensured the 2017 RC 200 looks very modern whilst retaining its sleek design and sharp looks.

KTM RC 200 Launched at Rs 1.71 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Built around the steel trellis frame, RC 200 is the entry level sports bike from KTM. Styling is similar to elder sibling RC 390 and there is a striking similarity in the design as well as the size of fairing used on 200. Lately, the bike maker made significant additions to the entire range available in India. Powering the sports bike is a 200cc engine borrowed from Duke 200 that uses a six-speed gearbox.
